Attic apartments can be quiet, as they are typically located on the top floor of a building, away from street noise. Additionally, they may have fewer neighbors and less foot traffic passing by, which can contribute to a quieter living environment. However, attic apartments can also be subject to noise from the roof, such as rain or wind, and may have less sound insulation from the elements. Overall, the level of quietness in an attic apartment can depend on factors such as the building's construction, location, and surrounding environment. **

Additionally, cooperative apartments can provide more control over the building's management and maintenance compared to renting. However, cooperative living also comes with potential drawbacks, such as the need for board approval for purchases and sales, and the possibility of higher monthly fees. Ultimately, whether cooperative apartments are a good choice depends on an individual's preferences and priorities. **

Shared apartments (WG-Zimmer) can be just as expensive as whole apartments for a few reasons. Additionally, the cost of living in general, including rent, may be high in these areas, which can drive up the prices for both shared and whole apartments. Furthermore, shared apartments often come with the added benefit of already being furnished and including utilities, which can contribute to their higher cost compared to whole apartments. **
